Rob Bird - Centre Manager

This will be Rob's tenth season at Outdoor Adventure. He is the Windsurf Principal and Head of Surfing. As Chief Instructor, he manages the instructor team and is in charge of the day to day running of your programme. He excels in surfing and windsurfing and can be seen on the local reefs pulling in as good as the best!

This is Rob's fifth season with us. He has been in the outdoor industry for 7 years having worked all over the UK and the continent. “Big Rob” works closely with Rob Bird to keep things running smoothly. Rob often winters in Scotland where he can be found tackling some of the most serious mountain routes and rivers.

A committed environmentalist and multi-activity instructor Emma fronts Outdoor Adventures recycling programme and delivers the John Muir Environmental Award. She is equally likely to be found in a kayak, on a surfboard or halfway up a crag on Dartmoor.
