Founder of Outdoor Adventure in 1981; keeps the Company at the forefront of the industry. Outdoor pursuits coach, team development trainer for business. Active sea kayaker, mountaineer and surfer.
Eleventh season at Outdoor Adventure. Comes from a surf and windsurfing background and excels at both sports. Uses his extensive knowledge of all aspects of the industry, to be overall in charge of the activities operations and continually improving the centre and activities. Always seen shredding the waves in his spare time.

Tenth season at Outdoor Adventure. Came to outdoor on a personal development course and loved the place so much has never left. All round athlete, excelling in windsurfing where he can be seen surfing big waves in even bigger winds!

Sixth Season at Outdoor Adventure. Ten years in the industry. Originally from “up North” were he used to roam the mountains and climb the crags of the Lake District and Scotland. Assists Rob Bird with managing the activities, staff and developing new ideas. Since moving to Cornwall has become hooked on surfing and windsurfing, but still loves climbing on the perfect Cornish sea cliffs, white water kayaking and walking on Dartmoor.
Fourth Season at Outdoor Adventure. Originally from a sports and fitness instructing background. Moved to Cornwall 8 years ago to instruct outdoor pursuits and hasn’t looked back since. Super well travelled, giving a appreciation of different cultures. Solid, clear, simple instructions, with the love of helping and watching people improve make Dave a really popular instructor. Splitting his time between college and Outdoor he is also equally likely to be found windsurfing or climbing, but most likely in the surf!

Third season at Outdoor Adventure. Comes from having worked at some of our larger competitors. Loves the small centre atmosphere and the chance to get to know the customers better, which helps “Stell” coach more specifically to everyones needs. Another mad keen surfer, regulary travels in winters to surf waves around the world.

Third season at Outdoor Adventure. Originally from a swimming teaching background, took a HND in Outdoor Education in 2001 and hasn’t looked back since. Always patient, always smiling and always laughing. Great addition to the team. Loves climbing and kayaking and moves like a fish in the water!

Second season at Outdoor Adventure. After a successful musical career, he has hung up his guitar and replaced it with a kayak paddle! Enthusiasm, enthusiasm, and enthusiasm is what Graham brings to the centre. Not enough days in the week for Grahams hobbies but most likely to be spotted at the local beach kayaking in huge waves.

First season at Outdoor Adventure Another great addition to the team. After coming on surfing holidays in Cornwall, from his home in Cambridge, from a very young age, Andy knew this was a job for him! He took a Diploma in Outdoor Education upon finishing college and hasn’t looked back since. Total all rounder and is hooked on coasteering!
First season at Outdoor Adventure.Although primarily a surfer, Charlie loves to get involved in anything thats going on. Loves the small centre atmosphere as it really gives him the chance to get to know and help the guests and make there stay memorable. Has an ambition to walk around the world!
You cant keep this man away, after a few years break Deano is back with us. Surfing is his speciality, with many a trip to Morocco and Sri Lanka under his belt, Deano is glad to be back on the beach and not stuck in the dust in his workshop. Endless energy and enthusiasm makes him stand out from the crowd. If not surfing you will see him out kite surfing.
First season at Outdoor Adventure. Not as scary as he looks, Doug is a great addition to the team. A local boy, he has degree’s in Marine Biology and Law but loves it so much he still prefers to surf coach! Well travelled, knowledgeable, fun and an awesome musician make Doug a great guy to be out on session with. Recently found a real love for Canadian Canoeing.
First season at Outdoor. From working in Rick Steins deli to a hunting estate in the highlands, Relton has years of experience in the kitchen. We have dragged him and his wife back from running Chalets in the Alps to work in Cornwall! Without doubt the best rated chef yet! Most guests want to take him home to make dinner every night!
First season at Outdoor Adventure. A true body boarding legend in his native South Africa, surfing waves the size of houses! Looks after the bar and evening entertainments. His open and charismatic personality make him a brilliant hit with all our guests.
This is Sharron's first season with Outdoor Adventure. The friendliest kitchen assistant ever, nothing is too much trouble for Sharon. Along with husband Relton they make sure that meal times are something to really look forward too!

As a small outdoor centre we provide a real alternative to the large adventure centres for primary schools and secondary schools trips ensuring the maximum personal development and teambuilding opportunities for each pupil as well as plenty of fun! We are also one of the few activity centres that can offer sole occupancy for your primary school, secondary school or college activity holidays which brings huge benefits for everyone. Our provision as an Outdoor Education centre includes tailored curriculum based trips for BTEC Sport & Public Services, GCSE and A-Level PE and Geography fieldwork.
